Christopher Plum, Ph.D.
CEO

Dr. Plum is co-owner of GPS Solutions and has served as an elementary, middle school, high school and university educator as well as an assistant principal, principal, chief academic officer, and superintendent.  Dr. Plum holds a Ph.D. in K-12 Educational Leadership and an M.A. in Educational Psychology. He has served as both a teacher and an administrator in charter, traditional public, and private schools for nearly 30 years.  As a building and district-level leader, Dr. Plum was responsible for creating a district- wide vision of readiness for all students, directing support services programming, leading school improvement, creating curricula, leading NCA accreditation, launching a district-wide K-12 Mandarin Language Program, creating innovative staffing programs, and successfully launching and staffing a high school in Detroit which graduated nearly 100% of its students and sent over 90% of graduates to 2-4 year colleges and universities. He is most proud of his on-going work aimed at restoring and growing learners of ages, building community in and outside of school walls, and positively impacting the field of education.

Tareia Caldwell, M.Ed.Eds
Director of Impact & Special Projects

Mrs. Caldwell holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in the areas of Elementary Education for grades K-8 Self Contained and Mathematics for grades 6-8. She also received a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration for grades K-12, all from Wayne State University. Mrs. Caldwell has 25 years of professional educational experience and has served in the capacities of; classroom instructor, title I support/ coordinator, instructional coach/mentor, Restorative Practice/ Positive Behavior Support Officer, Dean of Academics, Assistant Principal and Principal. She is a certified member of two Harvard Urban Leadership Programs. Mrs. Caldwell is an active member of The Michigan Coalition of Teachers and The Michigan Elementary and Middle School Principals Association. She was also a part of a 4-year School Improvement cohort of school leaders who worked with The Michigan Association of Public School Academies for increased student achievement.

Jeremy Linne
Director of Private Non-Public Schools & Services

Jeremy is a proud father of four, a husband, brother, and son.  He has been working in education for 15 years. He is passionate about helping kids succeed, coaching teachers and principals towards a work life balance, and engaging the community in strategic improvement. He has worked in school leadership for the last 10 years, most recently driving two Detroit High schools towards 90%+ graduation over 7 straight years. He has graduated from George Washington University with a Leadership degree and the RELAY Graduate School National Principal Supervisor Cohort. He is skilled in research, coaching, technology integration, social emotional learning, and leadership development, as well as infusing diversity, equity, and inclusion through multiple levels of the school experience.

Evan Tomey
Director of Operations

Mr. Tomey is an experienced school finance official specializing in utilization of categorical funding, internal control implementation and grant compliance. He holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Michigan in Economics and Applied Statistics and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Accountancy. Mr. Tomey began his career in education as an independent audit associate for Croskey Lanni PC and currently serves as the company controller and school finance consultant. He has 4 years of experience in school finance and is currently supporting over 15 schools in accounting, finance, or grant compliance. Throughout his tenure Mr. Tomey has maintained financially compliant academic programs in several schools, successfully carried out school management transitions, and created implementation plans for school accounting, internal control, and budgeting procedures.
